SWAMP STUDIES
I live and work alongside a swamp, with thrashers, crows, towhees, raptors and bees, raccoons, skunks, coyotes, fence lizards. Sages, Mexican mock orange, and ceanothosis cloak ledges of schist, now in spring.
Stuck in the swamp,' or in Chumash, 'tsɨskikiye,' where waters gather.’
